I live just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, with my family, our three Great Danes, and a love for spending time outdoors. I'm a father of two, a family-focused person, and someone who genuinely believes that a backyard should be more than just a patch of grass behind your house.

It should be a place where your family comes together.

A place where friends gather around the grill, kids play in the yard, dogs run around, and everyone can sit back, relax, eat some great food, and enjoy being together.

That's what inspired me to create this store.

Why I Started This Business

I've always enjoyed being outside with my family and hosting people at our home. Some of my favorite memories are the simple ones—having family and friends over, firing up the grill, sitting under our gazebo, and letting everyone enjoy the backyard.

Over time, I started paying more attention to what makes an outdoor space actually enjoyable and usable.

A great grill can turn a regular evening into a family dinner. A quality shelter can provide the shade and comfort that keeps everyone outside longer. The right setup can transform a backyard into a place where people genuinely want to spend their time.

I wanted to help other families create that same experience.

I'm looking for luxury backyard grills, outdoor shelters, and other products that offer the quality and features people expect from a premium product without making them unnecessarily expensive.

Warranties are important to me, too. When you're investing in your backyard, you should have confidence in the product you're purchasing and the company standing behind it.

That's why I take the time to hand-select the products offered through this store. I want to offer products that I would feel comfortable recommending to my own family and friends.

A Little More About Me

When I'm not working on the store, I'm a behavioral therapist working with children with autism.

That work has taught me a lot about patience, communication, problem-solving, and most importantly, the importance of creating environments where people can feel comfortable and supported.

At home, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, working on the backyard, grilling, or hosting some kind of family get-together.

And of course, our three Great Danes are usually somewhere in the middle of everything.

For me, the backyard isn't about having the biggest or most expensive setup. It's about creating a space where people want to be.
